New Unified Liability Report
We’re excited to introduce the enhanced Liability Report, now designed to be more user-friendly, intuitive, and insightful than ever before. The new layout features clearer data labels and a streamlined structure, making it easier to read, interpret, and act on key insights. There is NO CHANGE to the existing data field definitions or logic. This release only introduces a new set of data fields that provide more specific tracking for events tied to program restructures.
A major upgrade is its ability to handle loyalty-program-restructure data seamlessly. You can now maintain complete data continuity when changing program types, points economy rules, or points conversion logic without losing historical data. For example, if your loyalty program used a banked currency model where points are converted into currency until December 31, 2025, and switched to a points unlock redeemable model starting January 1, 2026, the new report format would display historical banked currency data alongside fields for the new program type, ensuring a unified and accurate view across transitions.
This approach safeguards the integrity of your transactional history and simplifies reporting during program changes. (LPE-1539, PDOC-3273)
Layout and Data Availability
- The report layout has been redesigned from horizontal to vertical, aligning with standard accounting principles for better readability.
- Previously, the report only displayed data for your brand’s current program type, with historical data being overwritten after a loyalty program restructure.
- In the new format, the report now provides a comprehensive view of all relevant data points, regardless of program type.
- Historical data from previous programs remains unaltered, allowing you to view liability details exactly as they were on any selected date.
Restructure Data Metrics: All data points related to program restructures are now included in the Liability Report. Detailed definitions for each metric are provided in the main article.

- Force Redeemed Rewards during Restructures
- Expired Rewards during Restructures
- Banked Amount via Restructures

Historical Restructure Overview: A purple pane on the right provides a quick summary of past restructures, including:
- Date of the last restructure
- Program transition details (From → To)
- Point multipliers applied at the time of restructuring
- Currency multipliers applied (where applicable, e.g., moving from a points-to-banked currency model to another program type)
