Support for Unlisted Aloha POS Versions

We have added support for unlisted Punchh Aloha versions by ignoring the minor version when the Proxy is installed on any Aloha 19 version, regardless of whether it is quick service (QS) or table service (TS). However, Punchh does not guarantee that the integration will work on unsupported versions, so the brand must exercise due diligence and thoroughly test.
Note: This change is included only in the new installer and Punchh POS Control Center (PPCC), and is not supported via the legacy installer.

A new command, -ignoreminorversion, has been added to the installer. By passing this command, the installer will ignore the Aloha minor version and allow the installation of Punchh software on unsupported Aloha versions.

Example command:
SetupPunchh_v .exe /i -businesskey -locationkey -ignoreminorversion

This command will bypass the minor version check and install the Punchh software on any Aloha version, regardless of minor version compatibility.

Bug Fixes on Aloha POS

• Updated the network settings monitor code to handle failures and support multi-thread operations (EPS-10144)
• Fixed a bug to ensure we handle all special characters in the JSON payload and format the string correctly (EPS-10398)
• We have disabled all console output when the user passes the /qn flag during the execution of the Punchh installer .exe file. As a result, no feedback will be provided to the user after the process exits. To log installation information, please follow the installation guide and pass the logging command. Bug Fixes on Micros Simphony POS

• Resolved error when voiding a discount on an order with a check-in attached (EPS-10177)
• Resolved error when canceling an order with a check-in attached (EPS-10239)
• Resolved issue in Simphony mapping line item discounts to aggregate discount to accurately reflect internal discounts (EPS-10313)
