Redemptions 2.0 Support for 'Must Select Items' on Aloha POS

We made a change to correctly provide discounts when the Must Select Items flag is enabled in Aloha. Brands are responsible for ensuring that combo discounts or rewards are not configured with excluded or restricted items, as they will not be excluded or restricted using the rules engine. If you enable the Must Select Items option in your Aloha Comp setup, make sure that you do not create combos with restricted items for that discount. With this configuration, discounts will apply even if there are restricted items on the check. (PD-5609)

Language File on Aloha POS

We implemented a change for a locally implemented language file to be used. (PD-5506)

Tax in Redeemable Total on Aloha POS

We added a setting to control whether or not tax should be included in the redeemable total. (Businesses that use VAT usually want to turn this on, while regions with separate tax usually don't.) (PD-5749, EPS-10678, EPS-10653, EPS-10347)

Bug Fixes on Aloha POS

• Fixed an issue where certain promo configurations related to child items were not correctly earning points. (EPS-10796)
• Fixed an issue where checks that remained open were inadvertently cleared from the cache too early. (EPS-10684)
• Changed the Punchh proxy to ignore reading checks that were created by external platforms, like ordering platforms, for calculation reasons. These checks have $0 total and 0 line items and are not valid visits. (EPS-10785)
• Fixed a problem with some items being incorrectly calculated as valid or invalid during the discount calculation process. (EPS-10513)
