Limited-Use Promo Codes

Promo codes can be limited to a configurable number of redemptions instead of only single-use or unlimited. Limits are enforced in real time, including optional per-customer and time-window controls.
  1. Log in to Admin Portal

  2. Click Configuration

  3. Click Limited Use Promo Codes

  4. Click Add

  5. Choose Manual (enter codes) or Generate (PAR POS creates the codes)

  6. Select a Promotion from the drop-down

  7. Enter codes (Manual) or set Count, Length, and character type (Generate)

  8. Set Redemption Limit (minimum 1)

  9. In Limit to Locations, choose location(s) and click Add

  10. Click Save

Non-Cash Payment Without a Cash Drawer

Phone-order staff who are not assigned a cash drawer can take credit card and gift card payments. Cash and mixed tenders still require a drawer.
  1. Log in to Admin Portal, then expand Staff

  2. Select Security Level

  3. Select the desired Security Level or create a new one

  4. Enable Can Take Non-Cash Payments Without Cash Drawer Assignment

  5. Click Save

  6. Navigate to Staff > Jobs

  7. Select the job used by employees who take phone orders

  8. Set the Security Level drop-down to the Security Level created above

  9. Click Save

Brother Printer Label Parity

AS1-3739

Brother TD label printing enhancements for script-based chits/labels. Print jobs are no longer lost when the printer sleeps. Includes a new driver, layout/calibration work, vertical and horizontal text printing, and retry after idle exceptions.
  1. Enable feature flag PARPOS.EnableNewBrotherPrinterDriver for the new driver path

Used only with script-based chits/labels. Must use a supported Brother printer (TD-4420DN class hardware for the timeout work).
