How to Create Area?
Areas represent separate sections within the same Venue which defer based on:
- Order Type (Full Service, Pick & Pay, Quick Service, Take-Out, Delivery, Curbside Pickup, Foodspot)
- Menus
- Venue Location
Each Area must have an Order Type. vs Each Order Type must have an Area.
Order Types can be enabled/disabled per Menu in the CMS. This article details different Order Types supported by MENU and how they are configured and function in the system.
Order Status
- Mobile App: Order status keeps the Customer informed about status of their Order after placement; It can be checked while the Order is in progress.
- Web App: Marking Order as "Ready" on Tablet triggers SMS
- Kiosk: Puck or Order Number Display is triggered
