Network Credentials
The Network Credentials activity stores email and web addresses required for transferring files such as scheduled reports, purchase orders or End of Day data. PAR OPS sends these files using a network path, email address, or FTP address.
How do I Launch Budgets activity?
Below are the steps on how to launch Network Credentials
- Select Restaurant, Logins and Groups from the Menu Folder
- Select Network Credentials activity
How Do I Add A Record?
- Click Add
- Select one of the following options from the 'TYPE' column:
- Network Path: stores the network path address used to transmit End of Day records, payroll data and employee records. This network path is located on the same server that support PAR OPS. If you would like to use a network path to support your configuration, please submit a support ticket for assistance.
- Email Address: stores email addresses used to transmit scheduled reports. This activity is required prior to scheduling reports in Reports Scheduling.
- FTP Address: stores the FTP web address used to transmit purchase orders.
- We support sending documentation using ftp, ftps and sftp. We support receiving documents using ftp and ftps.
- Enterprise Analytics: stores information to connect data to Enterprise Analytics.
- Single Login: allows you to select a single login for sending data.
- Login List: allows you to select a Report Delivery Smart Group for sending data.
- Enter a Description in the 'DESCRIPTION' column
- Enter or select an option from the 'DESTINATION' column
- Network Path: type the network path address.
- Email address: type in email address.
- For email addresses you may add more than one by placing a comma between addresses (example: email1@company.com, email2@company.com). An optional and better way for PAR OPS to deliver mail to groups is to establish an email group in your email exchange and have PAR OPS email to the group address (example: operationsgroup@companyname.com). You may also use a login list.
- FTP address: type in the address.
- Enterprise Analytics: enter the details for connecting to Enterprise Analytics.
- Single Login: select a login from the drop-down list.
- Login List: select a Report Delivery Smart Group.
- Enter Login and Password information, if necessary
- Click Save
How Do I Delete A Record?
Once you have opened Network Credentials activity, perform the following
- Select the line item to delete
- Click Delete
