Toast POS Integration Features
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to highlight the new features that are now supported as part of the integration between Punchh Restaurant Marketing Cloud and Toast POS. This includes the most recent updates to the existing Loyalty integration as well as the new Promotions Integration.
For clients already leveraging the Loyalty integration (V1 or V2), this document also provides guidelines on what is required to upgrade to the new version of the Loyalty integration.
Note: 7 and 8 digits redemption codes are supported.
Supported Features
Loyalty Integration
Following is a list of all the features that are supported as a part of the latest Punchh-Toast Loyalty Integration (Toast V3):
1. User Look-up
- By Email - verified
- By Phone
- By Redemption Code
- By QR Code Scanning
2. Check-in via QR code printed on the receipt
3. Storing all receipts including anonymous transactions without Loyalty
- All receipts will be sent to Punchh, both Loyalty and Non-Loyalty. The clients can access both Loyalty & Non-Loyalty transactions on the dashboard. It also enables the end user to check-in "offline" by scanning the QR code for the Non-Loyalty Check and earn points
4. Reward Displayed on the POS screen
- Banked rewards / Currency
- Card / Visit Based
- Redeemable / Points unlock redeemable
- Rewards
5. Redemption
- Banked rewards / Currency
- Card / Visit Based
- Redeemable / Points unlock redeemable
- Rewards
6. Ability to Void / Make Adjustments to Check-ins and redemptions.
7. Display of expiry date in the reward list on the POS.
8. Modifiers displayed on the check.
- All modifiers are now displayed on the check as separate sub-menu items with serial numbers.
Note: Cashier can use app generated user redemption code in following way:
- Redeem Via redemption code(Scan QR code/enter manually)- Cashier needs to add items to the check , go under lookup rewards tab and enter/scan the redemption code to apply on the check , only the corresponding reward will be shown in the reward list on POS screen and redeem button will be enabled against it, only if applicable based on the qualification criteria configured in Punchh dashboard.
Promotions Integration
Following is a list of all the features that are supported as a part of the Punchh-Toast Promotions Integration:

- Via alphanumeric promotion or coupon code
